We are in the process of testing a new email notification system. Our forum email service has been down for some time. This system allows you to send messages to other forum members, sends an email when a post you're following changes, and other notices that are sent via email. Hopefully this new system will continue to work properly. So if you're interested in a particular post, you can now follow it and be notified when it changes or a new message is posted. That's rather nice, instead of having to check every few days to see if something new has been added. There is also another upgrade to the forum version. Only minor changes, but it's always best to get these changes made. We'll get to that as soon as possible. Landing Gear geometry and preferences

This Forum is specific to the Badland Aircraft F1 through F5 series of ultralights. Unquestionably the most awesome ultralight available. The F1 through F5 are an advanced design of the Kitfox Lite, the ultralight version of the incredible and very popular Kitfox STOL experimental. Landing Gear geometry and preferences

For those of you who have built (or are currently building) the main gear on your Badland kit, I'm curious as to where you landed on your geometry. Positive camber, negative camber...which do you prefer and why?

The same question applies to toe-in versus toe-out. From what I can tell, the toe isn't adjustable on this gear (without cutting and welding) - you get what you get when all is said and done. I have a fair amount of toe-in on mine.

I know this discussion has come up in other forums (radio control planes, etc) so I thought it may carry over well to this forum. What do you prefer and why? Advantages? Disadvantages?
